Half Day Island Coach Tour

On this tour starts on the morning after your arrival or Monday morning if you arrive on the weekend., The tour will take you to some of our key historic areas, including Kingston, Cascade and Longridge. This is your chance to learn all about the fascinating history of Norfolk Island. See the famous convict buildings for yourself and enjoy the stories told in the full commentary as you visit each new place. Some of the highlights include the renowned Melanesian Chapel and a visit to the grounds of an old island home - where you will be served morning or afternoon tea.

Pitcairn Settlers Village

At the Pitcairn Settlers Village, experience the proud history of the Pitcairn Island settlers. Your guided tour will include, the gracious original Bailey homestead & gardens, a stroll through the barn, dairy and out-buildings, a museum filled with items of nostalgic and historic interest, the oldest working forge in the Pacific, an ex-New Zealand Army hut, with war-time memorabilia, an exclusive film of Norfolk Island interest and complimentary refreshments. This tour is a great way to find out about the history of the Pitcairn Islanders resettlement to Norfolk Island

The Norfolk Island Museums reveal to you Norfolk's amazing and multi-layered stories. Famous for its colorful history. Your museum pass will provide you with multiple and flexible entry into the Island four museums which are located in Kingston

Tag-a-Long Tour

The Museum has two guided Tag-A-Long tours. These tours include a guided journey behind the scenes, to reveal additional stories from the museum collection and Norfolk's history. Tour Tour runs 6 days a week and covers two different museums on each day. There is no need to book, simply turn up each day at 9.30am.

Convict Settlement Tour

This guided coach tour will take your though the World Heritage Listed Georgian settlement of Kingston and the the cemetery, where you will hear the history of the colonial headstones, as well as the old houses along Quality Row.  The Convict Settlement Tour is a great complimentary tour to the Museums passes.- Afternoon Tea is included

The clubhouse for the Lions Club of Norfolk Island is located in the Surgeons Cottage on the hill above Kingston Pier. Inside is a fascinating collection of historical photographs. Entry is a small gold coin donation and is a must for all these interest in Norfolk's contemporary history. While your there take a walk up Flag Staff hill for some great views of Kingston, the path is just behind the Lions Club.
